Sunday 9th July 2017 - 7:45pm - RACHEL TUCKER BY REQUEST - Bridge House Theatre Fundraiser

The Bridge House theatre is extremely proud to announce that for one night only Rachel Tucker, the theatre’s joint artistic director, brings her critically acclaimed cabaret to the garden of the Bridge House to raise money for the venue.

However this will be a very unique concert - as this is her last planned UK solo show of 2017 – Rachel is offering the audience to shape some of the evening’s entertainment.

Every ticket holder will be given the chance in advance to bid in a sealed auction for 3 prizes, that are as follows.

Lot 1 & 2: Two lucky bidders will get to suggest 3 different songs, out of which Rachel will choose one to perform and dedicate during the evening.
Lot 3: The chance for one lucky bidder to join Rachel in a duet live on stage.  (Full Details on how to bid on lots – will be sent separately via email.)

Rachel will also be joined on stage by some special, yet to be announced guests alongside her On The Road Band, Musical Directed by Kris Rawlinson.

This open-air concert is directed by the theatre’s other Artistic Director – Guy Retallack and is produced by Rob Harris for The Bridge House Theatre & Climar Productions.

Friday 23rd June 2017 - 7:45pm - Bridge House and the Penge Festival Present "LAST TANGO IN PENGE.”

'Last Tango In Penge' by Paul Harris:

An interactive dramatized history of popular dancing, through the lens of Penge.

Paul Harris, award winning international Choreographer and creator of the wand combat language for the Harry Potter films, uses his background as British and U.K. Ballroom and Latin American champion to bring the extraordinary story of popular dance, and how and why Peggy Spencer put Penge at the heart of a pop cultural phenomenon. Using one of the World's current top ranked Youth Ballroom and Latin dance couples, and you, the people of Penge, Paul brings this extraordinary story to vivid life.

With dancers Steven Dean and Krystal Leggett. Curated by Guy Retallack.
